This last weekend was pretty chill. Jenn and I spent the weekend just enjoying the good weather and getting out in the city. Friday night it was raining so we went to get some slices and came back with some movies. Other than Monster, the other movies we not worth mentioning.
Saturday was great because the sun came out and we decided to go to the Upper East Side. We walked around there for a while and ended up at this hole in the wall Mexican joint. Nowhere near as good as the places in Houston but it was some of the best we have had since we moved to NYC.
We decided to check out this place we kept seeing on the way home called Rare View. I had eaten at the restaurant a few times but hadn't been up on the rooftop. Very cool place. They had great music, from Kool and the Gang to Outkast. They had these neat little beds that you could chill on. Very laid back crowd. Only thing that sucked was the drink prices and the fact that they had no cider draft. Other than that it was a great ending to the day we had.
Excuse the pic, I just snapped it with my phone...
good shit sounds like u r having fun.. cant wait till im up there in july...
It is located on Lexington near 36 - 37th st. You will see the Rare View sign to the side of the restaurant. I havn't been to Grimaldi's before but I am looking for a good pizza place in the area. So far the best we have found has been in Hoboken. It may just be the food isn't that good in the Murry Hill area. I will check out Grimaldi's, thanks for the suggestion!

No problem - thanks for having the node! :-D Where is the Rare View? And out of curiosity, have you ever been to Grimaldi's? Best pizza ever, 100% handmade down to the cheese...
